Stray cat walks into a zoo … and a friendship is bornA stray calico cat recently wandered into Russia’s Leningrad Zoo. He was looking for food, but he ended up finding a friend. The feline somehow got into the zoo’s lynx enclosure and bonded with the large cat. The two now groom each other and nap together. Zookeepers didn’t have the heart to separate them, so now the zoo has adopted the stray.Watch the video.

Illustrator’s winged assistant is a hootSpending hours in front of the computer can get lonely, but not for one Japanese illustrator who keeps an owl quite literally at hand. His northern white-faced owl sits on his hand as he works on his tablet, and the bird has no trouble readjusting when his handy perch suddenly moves quickly across the computer screen.
